The Intel Cost and Inventory team is chartered with delivering the total Intel Cost and Inventory picture. The Cost and Inventory team is where data and analytics occur that help execute our close processes and key metrics enabling business decisions.
The primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
-Perform cycle-over-cycle assessments over diverse parameters, analyzing trends against forecasted targets
-Validate system checks, identify discrepancies, and drive root cause analysis to resolve issues
-Develop and automate proactive checks to identify potential issues before close and POR critical timeframes
-Design and deliver reports/tools to facilitate financial analysis for actuals and projection models
-Oversee correct application of Cost of Sales accounting policies and flawlessly execute SOX controls
-Active participation in testing key initiatives/projects for the company that will impact the Cost and Inventory area

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Finance or Accounting
- Basic SQL skills (creating queries, working with views and tables) and Power BI basic knowledge
- Advanced English level proficiency
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, able to distill complex data into executive-level insights
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to tackle root causes rather than symptoms

Additional preferred skills:
- MBA with 2+ years' experience or BS with 4+ years' experience
- Knowledge of Intel Manufacturing process or semiconductor/manufacturing processes
- Finance and Costs knowledge, including cost accounting policies
- SAP/S4 system knowledge and experience
- SOX compliance experience
- Experience with ICOST system or similar cost management tools
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency
