Who We Are
The Office of the Commandant (OOC) serves and supports departments within the Corps of Cadets that are critically engaged in all aspects of student development and the delivery of key services and support. OOC departments work to create environments that help students grow, develop, learn, and enhance their experience at Texas A&M by providing leadership opportunities, experiential education, and connections beyond the classroom. This position will be part of a centralized team that supports the active recruiting efforts of future cadets and their families to Texas A&M and the Corps of Cadets.

The Multimedia Production Manager will work with internal and external marketing and communications teams to create, produce, film/photograph and edit digital media content to support the mission of the Corps of Cadets and Texas A&M University.

Additional Details: Must be available to work nights and weekends, and early mornings. The daily work hours may periodically be altered to accommodate Corps needs and campus events, to include weekends.
Responsibilities
PROJECT DEVELOPMENT/COORDINATION:
Collaborates with professional staff and student workers to Conceptualize, coordinate and execute utilizing photography and videography elements across digital platforms. Works with internal and external marketing and communications teams to create and produce film/photograph and edits digital media content to support the mission of the Corps of Cadets and Texas A&M University. Ensures consistency and monitors technical quality of end products. Meets postproduction goals and deadlines.
CUSTOMER SERVICE:
Forms collaborative relationships and works cooperatively with others within the Corps and across campus, including, but not limited to the Division of Student Affairs Marketing & Communications team and A&M Marketing & Communications team. Works within and manages tight timeline and budget constraints while meeting stakeholder specifications.
MANAGEMENT & TRAINING:
Mentors and trains student staff. Arranges for necessary audiovisual support of programs and projects including directing photographers, and videographers in the accomplishment of their duties.
OTHER DUTIES:
Performs other duties as assigned. Serves as an action officer for special projects assigned by the department head.
Qualifications
Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Five years of related experience in studio and/or live video production and photography, including some related supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Visualization, Graphic Design, Marketing, or Communications.
Seven years' experience in video production and photography.
Experience within studio photography.
Certification in animation that includes: Photoshop, Flash design, and video editing from a higher education institution.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of basic marketing and mass communication principles.
Mastery of digital SLR cameras, image editing, cinema camera operations, set design, continuous and strobe lighting, postproduction editing, color grading, and audio editing.
Familiarity with Frame.io or similar video review/approval platforms.
Digital graphic design skills using software such as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro).
Proficient in Final Cut, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.
Photography and videography skills, including framing and composition, lighting, and audio.
Skilled with 3D/2D animation and motion graphics.
Skilled with and experience in GoPro and drone video.
Proficient with 3 axis gimbals.
Ability to conceptualize, plan, and manage complex multimedia projects from start to finish with limited supervision.
