Summary/Overview:

Kroll Bond Rating Agency, LLC (KBRA, LLC) is seeking a Transportation Analyst / Senior Analyst to join its growing Corporate, Project and Infrastructure Finance team. This role will be focused on credit ratings and research across the transportation sector, including aviation, shipping and rail. The position will be based out of KBRA’s New York office. 

About the Job:

• Analyze financial statements of companies
• Prepare committee memos, research reports, and supporting analytical materials and assist senior analysts in rating process and research efforts
• Present rating recommendations in rating committees and participate in external management meetings and investor calls
• Monitor portfolio of companies for significant developments
• Assist in ensuring key procedures and processes are adhered to

You will be successful in this role if you have:

• Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced graduate degree and/or CFA designation a plus
• 0-2 years of work experience in a financial analysis role within financial services or rating agency
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and Excel skills
• Attention to details
• Ability to work as part of a collaborative team in a challenging and dynamic environment
• Strong interest and/or relevant experience in ratings and/or financial sector transactions
• CFA and knowledge of Bloomberg considered positively
• Familiarity with Generative AI tools such as ChatGPT for research, data insights, and general productivity is a plus

Salary Range:

The anticipated annual base salary range for this full-time position is $75,000 to $95,000. Offer amounts are determined by factors such as experience, skills, geography, and other job-related factors.
