Duties & Responsibilities
This role is responsible for the management, training, coaching and development for assigned region of Corporate Trust Relationship Managers. This role will also serve as Lead Administrator for the largest/key complex accounts, volume and /or client relationship to ensure high quality fiduciary services.
Provide leadership and guidance to direct reports and the regional teams under their responsibility
Actively participate in developing and executing the strategic plan and accompanying annual objectives for Corporate Trust
Actively engage with the Corporate Trust Development Team and specifically involve the business development officers assigned to the regions for which they have responsibility
Conduct performance discussions/next 90s with direct reports and recommend performance improvements as needed
Ensures regional managers are operating profitably and following prescribed controls/procedures consistently across regions
Ensures each regional manager has the resources necessary to achieve Corporate Trust growth as well as safety/soundness targets
Work with regional managers/team leads to ensure effective talent acquisition and development is occurring on a ongoing basis
Resolve ALL administrative issues and provide support to all team members
Work with regional managers to ensure each team is operating with a continuous improvement mindset and are actively engaging the Strategic Projects and Training team within Corporate Trust to implement efficiencies and service enhancements on an ongoing basis
Operate independently to service the largest clients and resolve the most complex issues, understanding when it is necessary to involve peers and/or manager for assistance and awareness
Provides direct day to day support for a limited number of existing institutional/corporate trust accounts including billing for administrative fees, recommending fee increases, facilitating bond closing, handling cash and investment transactions, monitoring cash activities, providing debt service calculations, executing payment generation and follow-up
Recommend and submit new business for approval from the new business committee made up of the senior leadership team in Corporate Trust
Ensure each region is pricing business based on account structure compared to existing business and market competition
Disseminates financial information to the EMMA system (as required)
Ensure each region takes responsibility for accurate/timely setup of new accounts/ new issues on all systems, preparing accounts for compliance review and responding appropriately to compliance exceptions
Review legal documents to ensure operational mechanics are appropriate
Work with corporate legal, compliance and outside legal counsel to negotiate document provisions
Ensure each region has effective succession planning in place, ensuring their teams are participating in ongoing cross-training to learn other Corporate Trust roles

Requirements:
MINIMUM:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
10 years relevant experience
PREFERRED:
Master's Degree
CCTS Certified Corporate Trust Specialist
Work Environment:
Typical office environment, some travel may be required
Supervision/Management:
Supervise a team of managers/team leads and associates including hiring, coaching and development
Compensation Range:
$150,940.00 - $321,830.00
