The Corporate Relations Manager plays a critical role across all parts of our business, including Supply, Global Brands, global functions, and commercial teams to help shape and drive our performance ambition.

The size and extent of Diageo’s Irish operations create significant and complex challenges across the regulatory, society, and communication agenda.

The remit of this role covers the IOI market but will also support Brand Homes and the delivery of capital projects. The role reports directly to the IOI Corporate Relations Director, and will play a pivotal role in safeguarding and enhancing the company's reputation and license to operate.

About you

  • 3-5 years of experience in Corporate Relations, either directly, within an agency setting or in an in-house role.
  • Industry stakeholder engagement skills in support of our reputation, leadership and commercial agendas.
  • Clear knowledge and understanding of Irish media and political landscape.

About the role

  • Support delivery of the Corporate Relations programme across reputation, policy, and Society 2030 priorities.
  • Support Brand Homes and marketing teams to maintain compliance with external communication policy, industry codes, voluntary standards, and the Diageo Marketing Code.
  • Coordinate with marketing, legal, and brand teams to ensure responsible drinking requirements are reflected across campaigns and activations.
  • Support the delivery of capital projects through stakeholder mapping, preparation of materials, and engagement with state agencies, local authorities, and community stakeholders.
  • Building and maintaining Diageo’s reputation and relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Management of all corporate relations policy risks and opportunities.
  • Support the delivery of capital projects across supply and demand business
  • Provide regulatory support to Irish Brand Homes and Irish marketing teams  
  • Track policy and regulatory developments that affect operations and capital projects. Provide clear updates and support briefing materials.
  • Assist with issues and crisis response. Coordinate actions and prepare accurate supporting content.
  • Deliver communication and engagement materials for announcements, events, and internal briefings.
  • Support delivery of Positive Drinking programmes and ensure alignment with responsible drinking principles across business activity.
  • Prepare briefing notes, Q&A, and content for senior leader engagement with media, stakeholders, and public bodies.
  • Coordinate events and speaking opportunities that reinforce corporate priorities and strengthen key relationships.
  • Work closely with public affairs colleagues on policy monitoring, stakeholder engagement, and delivery of advocacy activity.
  • Build strong internal networks across Marketing, Supply, Legal, and other teams to ensure Corporate Relations inputs are integrated into planning and execution.
