Corporate Real Estate Project Analyst

Duties & Responsibilities:

This position leads administrative, data and technology related initiatives for the Corporate Real Estate team.

Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:

Reporting

  • Design and maintain properties reports and dashboards
  • Create presentations for executive review
  • Develop intimate knowledge of data points for over 200 locations
  • Develop and maintain art tracking database
  • Research and maintain records on internal data relevant to the organizational strategy
  • Research and report on external real estate market data for new real estate opportunities for lease and purchase

Project Management

  • Technical and IT project manager for the corporate real estate team
  • Manage remodel projects under $250,000
  • Manage tenant finish projects in coordination with landlords

  • Administration
  • Maintain meeting agendas and notes for team meetings
  • Develop a shared and dynamic record keeping architecture for project managers
  • Maintain the system of record for properties relating to ownership, modifications,
  • Design standard project management documentation (charters, communication tracking, status updates, agendas etc.)
  • Review leases for abstracting
  • Review purchase and sale agreements for summary
  • Organize data provided from external real estate brokers for internal review

Knowledge & Skills

MINIMUM:

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft products (Excel, Word, Access, Power Automate, Power BI)
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret legal documents as well as blueprints & other drawings
  • Advanced verbal & written communication skills.
  • Advanced presentation skills and ability to respond to questions from executive leadership, as well as clients, customers, or the public
  • Advanced ability to reason and solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Experience with real estate contracts, leases, and negotiations
  • Previous Construction Management experience
  • Accounting and Finance experience
  • Strategic thinking & independent worker

PREFERRED:

  • Previous experience providing oversite of third-party brokers and leasing agents
  • Previous experience with Oracle systems
  • Strong working knowledge of lease agreements; real estate administration and contract law
  • Project management administration experience

Requirements

MINIMUM:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a business-related focus or equivalent experience
  •  5+ years of business, accounting, or finance related experience

Work Environment

Typical office environment.  Travel requirements 10%.

Compensation Range:

$69,230.00 - $149,000.00

The posted compensation range on this listing represents UMB’s standard for this role, but the actual compensation may vary by geographic location, experience level, and other job-related factors.
