ING Corporate Sector Lending Dublin has a new opportunity for a Transaction Manager in Dublin within our Network Sector Lending (“NSL”) team. The NSL team in Dublin (a.k.a. LAM Lending) is a hub lending team providing WB Lending services covering Network Sector Lending across the UK, Ireland, France and Switzerland client coverage regions. The client base of NSL Dublin consists of both investment and non-investment-grade
corporate clients which includes subsidiaries of ING’s largest multinational clients.
The Role: Lending Transaction Management Expert GJA15
The role offers an excellent entry point to Corporate Sector Lending and provides a platform to gain international
corporate lending experience. Development in the role will take place within an international work environment
dealing with colleagues from across the ING network. As a Transaction Manager within Corporate Lending, you
are responsible for:
- Transaction Management activities relating to certain portfolios, clients and transactions.
- Working closely with Client Coverage and various ING product teams to provide solutions to ING Corporate Clients. Making presentations to decision makers on credit proposals.
- Performing corporate research & analysis and preparing credit reports and maintaining comprehensive credit files. Monitoring credit quality and undertaking annual reviews as per CCRM policy requirements.
- Where required certain activities relating to the BMG client portfolio as delegated by Lending management.
- Documentation due diligence, negotiation and execution activities relating to clients and transactions under management.
- The Transaction Manager will be expected to be aware of all external issues having an impact on the credit quality of the Lending files under management in addition to regulatory and other relevant matters relating to the portfolio under management.
- Involvement in various projects for Corporate Sector Lending Dublin related to Reporting, Monitoring and Lending Analytics. These may include regulatory changes, internal policy changes, static data quality and various other activities required from time to time to support the department.
Reports to: Head of Network Sector Lending Ireland
Experience:
- 2-3 years of experience in a corporate banking environment.
- University level degree with preferably Finance / Accountancy as a major.
- Knowledge of Compliance, Policy and Regulatory related issues and implementations.
- Understanding of balance sheet, P&L and cash flow analysis.
