Job Description:

This position will assist in performing diligence requests, developing financial valuation models, and other value-add initiatives for the organization.

What you will do to contribute to the company's success

  • Assist in M&A opportunity analysis, including preparation of financial valuation models and internal presentations
  • Participate in M&A process including business assessment, due diligence, and valuation activities
  • Provide analytical support for strategic initiatives such as new market opportunities, network expansions, and other capital investments
  • Ad hoc analyses and other special projects related to strategic initiatives or projects within Cable One

Qualifications

  • Relevant work experience (including internships) in corporate development, investment banking, or private equity, particularly in the cable or telecommunications industry
  • Excellent data analytical skills, strong command of finance and M&A concepts, and advanced proficiency in creating complex financial models in Excel
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to effectively manage time and multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills through proficient use of PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team environment across multiple functional areas to meet aggressive goals
  • Capacity to work flexible hours to include overtime, weekends, or holidays to meet time-sensitive deliverables
  • Strong work ethic and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Self-motivated, high-energy, intellectually curious individual who can easily function in a high demand, performance-driven environment
