Salesforce's Corporate Development team is responsible for M&A strategy and execution. We help shape the future of Salesforce by identifying industry trends, maintaining relationships with relevant external partners, and sourcing, negotiating, structuring, and performing strategic acquisitions to enable our executive team, product, engineering, and other leaders to drive inorganic growth and innovation.
Salesforce is one of the most active acquirers in enterprise software with 20+ closed acquisitions over the past 3 years comprising more than $45B of value, and 100+ closed acquisitions since 2006. This opportunity provides tremendous exposure and the ability to contribute materially to Salesforce's long-term trajectory. We apply a disciplined approach to M&A, and enable our senior executives to take advantage of inorganic opportunities that help them achieve their strategic objectives. Representative acquisitions include Informatica, Slack, Tableau, MuleSoft, Demandware, and Vlocity.
The Senior Analyst position is a high impact role on a highly visible team. This role will support all facets of Corporate Development M&A, including competitor and industry benchmarking, target identification and evaluation, financial modeling and valuation, detailed due diligence, and deal execution. This is an excellent opportunity to join a team that is actively shaping the future of the company and the enterprise software industry more broadly.
The position will be based in San Francisco and be hybrid, reporting to the office three days a week.
