Are you a goal-oriented benefits professional and effective multi-tasker, who can support and execute the details necessary to yield accurate and compliant employee healthcare programs?
The Corporate Benefits Specialist will be responsible for supporting healthcare programs and process performed both internally and by third party administrators, participating in the implementation of new administrators and executing healthcare activity.
Performs the healthcare administration activity to ensure it is consistent with plan provisions and regulatory requirements
Effectively participate in the implementation of healthcare plan design requirements and changes
Working knowledge of healthcare operations and regulatory requirements.
Partners with internal and external resources to execute policies and procedures
Ensures the accuracy of systems specifications and processes in accordance with healthcare plan provisions.
Educate stakeholders on plan provisions
Understand plan information across all documents and platforms (Summary Plan Description - SPD, Summary of Benefits & Coverage – SBC, enrollment platform transparency tools, etc.)
Prepare reports and specifications
Research and respond to healthcare inquiries and identify solutions for benefit administration
Assist in monitoring issue trends to help determine appropriate actions to improve service levels
Analysis and compile results of establish benefits related initiatives, activity and reporting.
Develop and maintain internal and external relationships related healthcare administration

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university and 2+ years of relevant experience.
Knowledge of healthcare operations required
Effective analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to multi-task and prioritize
Advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Knowledge of HRIS and employee demographic data impact on benefit administration
Understanding of regulations influencing self-funded benefit plan administration (ERISA, DOL, IRS Section 125, etc.)
Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.
Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
