Overview
The Junior Producer at Blackstone will play a crucial role in supporting the Production team across a wide range of projects. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about media production, content creation, with a creative eye and detail oriented approach. They will be instrumental in facilitating the smooth execution of production schedules, ensuring high-quality content delivery, seamless event execution and supporting the team in various capacities. The ideal candidate has experience directing and facilitating the edit of webinars, video presentations and other multimedia deliverables — and understands the nuances of tailoring video content for maximum impact on social platforms as well as long form video.
Key Responsibilities
· Work with business unit stakeholders to align on logistics and production methods for webinars, video presentations and other multimedia deliverables
· Provide on-set or on-location support during shoots, including managing talent, and coordinating with vendors.
· Partner with event planners and producers in managing the delivery of multimedia assets
· Ensure successful delivery of video assets in coordination with presenters, legal and compliance and corporate affairs leadership
· Contribute to creative brainstorming sessions
· Work with Design and Animation teams to ensure motion graphics are clear, compelling and accurate
· Handle various administrative tasks such as preparing call sheets, tracking expenses, and maintaining project documentation.
· Ensure compliance with company policies, copyright laws, and industry regulations throughout the production process.
· Assist with the development and management of project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and financial accountability.
· Facilitate internal and external communications, acting as a liaison between the production team and other departments within Blackstone, as well as external partners and stakeholders.
· Monitor and report on the progress of production projects, identifying any issues or delays and proposing solutions to keep projects on track.
Requirements & Preferred Skills:
· Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Communications, or related field preferred.
· Previous experience in a production assistant or similar role is highly desirable.
· Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with the latest video production equipment and software, including cameras, lighting, sound recording, and editing suites such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Avid Media Composer.
· Production Knowledge: Understanding of the production workflow for video shoots, including pre-production planning, storyboarding, set design, and the roles of different crew members.
· Attention to Detail: Ability to pay close attention to the details that are crucial for the success of a corporate video shoot, such as continuity, branding elements, and the specific requirements outlined by the creative team or stakeholders.
· Communication: Strong communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of production, from crew members to talent, and corporate executives, ensuring clear and concise information exchange.
· Time Management: Proficiency in managing tight schedules and meeting deadlines, often a necessity in corporate video production where time is a critical factor.
· Adaptability: Capacity to adapt to various shooting environments, whether in a studio, an office setting, or on location, and to adjust quickly to changes or challenges that may arise during the shoot.
· Creative Input: Ability to contribute creatively, offering suggestions for shots or edits that align with the corporate brand and the objectives of the video content.
· Problem-Solving: Aptitude for identifying problems quickly and finding effective solutions, especially under the pressure of a shoot.
· Teamwork: Experience working collaboratively within a production team, often with diverse groups of people, and contributing to a positive, productive working environment.
· Professionalism: Professional demeanor when interacting with corporate clients and representatives, understanding the importance of maintaining the company's image and brand standards throughout the production process.

Expected annual base salary range:
$85,000 - $115,000Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
Additional compensation and benefits offered in connection with the role consist of comprehensive health benefits, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, and FSA benefits; paid time off; life insurance; 401(k) plan; and discretionary bonuses. Certain employees may also be eligible for equity and other incentive compensation at Blackstone’s sole discretion.
