Who we are looking for:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Sanctions Screening Process Team Lead to manage and guide Sanctions Screening Operations. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring that our processes align with global regulatory expectations and internal policies designed to prevent financial crime. The candidate should have a solid understanding of global sanctions regulations set by OFAC, UN, EU etc.
Why this role is important to us: The team you will be joining is a part of The RMCoE Sanctions Screening team which performs a centralized first line of defense function. The team evaluates SWIFT messages which contain “Stop Phrases and Stop Entities” established by OFAC, Section 311- Special Measures, as well as State Street internal global lists. Sanctions Screening Monitors, aid in State Street’s objectives to mitigate risk, and comply with Corporate and Regulatory objectives.

Education & Preferred Qualifications: · Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience · 3-5 years of experience in the financial industry preferably with AML exposure · Advanced PC skills · ACAMS Certification (preferred but not required) Additional requirements: The candidate is required to work in Night shifts and flexible shifts. The candidate should be flexible for rotational basis weekend working.
