Core Operations, Associate 2

Who we are looking for:

Associate 2 Operational tax is primarily responsible for the timely and accurate execution and reporting of tax reclaim filling for our clients’ accounts (funds).

What you will be responsible for:

As operational tax primarily responsible for the timely and accurate execution and reporting of tax reclaim filling for our clients’ accounts (funds). The role is to prepare tax reclaim forms on behalf of the individual beneficiary and responsible to fill tax reclaim file with sub custodian or directly with the tax authority, depending on market practice.

The tax operation role needs to reconcile and validate various accounts, or reviews reconciliations prepared by others to ensure the integrity of the tax reclaim file. You may also be involved with other tax process to promote the whole tax reclaim payment progress.

Education & Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or above
• Demonstrate ability to resolve issues and client queries independently and communicate with other teams in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Act collaboratively in the team.
• Approx 2 years related experience in financial service environment, including knowledge of basic fund accounting as well as tax payment.
• Knowledge of financial products such as equities, fixed income will be an advantage
• Excellent attention to detail
• Organized and Deadline-driven
