The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a Copywriter to contribute to high-impact work within the Corporate Communications organization, operating as a modern in-house agency partner to the business. This role collaborates closely with Marketing, Internal Communications, External Communications, and Events & Partnerships to deliver compelling copy and ideas that elevate the brand, support growth priorities, and strengthen enterprise reputation. The successful candidate will be a part of the Creative Studio team within the company’s Corporate Communications department, and report directly to the Executive Director, Creative Studio.

This position is located in Reston, VA.

Responsibilities:

  • Craft persuasive, on-brand copy for campaigns, executive communications, web, social, video, and events
  • Interview subject-matter experts and translate technical concepts into clear, compelling language
  • Apply voice/tone and brand guidelines consistently across formats and channels
  • Edit and proofread for precision, accessibility, and compliance
  • Partner with designers to concept creative ideas and narratives
  • Incorporate feedback quickly; manage multiple deadlines with calm and quality

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in copywriting
  • A portfolio demonstrating expertise, versatility, and measurable results
  • Must be local to the DMV and be able to work on-site 3-days a week (Tuesday being mandatory)


Desired:

  • Master’s degree (i.e., Creative Writing, Advertising)
  • Experience working in the national security industry

Pay Range:

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$70,800 - $148,600
