The Coordinator Service Department at FLSmidth LLP plays a vital role in ensuring efficient and organized service operations by providing administrative and logistical support to the service team and management.

Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinate service schedules, appointments, and dispatching of field service engineers.

  • Maintain and update service records, customer databases, and equipment information accurately.

  • Process service requests, work orders, and relevant documentation, ensuring completeness and compliance.

  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding service inquiries, updates, and scheduling.

  • Assist with inventory management for service parts and tools, including ordering and tracking.

  • Prepare reports and presentations related to service performance, metrics, and customer satisfaction.

  • Support the service management team with administrative tasks, such as travel arrangements and expense reports.

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and customer experience.

  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines at all times.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in business administration or a related field preferred.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative or coordination role, preferably within a service-oriented environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and/or CRM software is a strong advantage.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.

  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
