Coordinator, Procurement Support

Join our Johannesburg team as a Coordinator, Procurement Support in the downstream petroleum sector.

Key Responsibilities:
 

Dispatch

• Arrange collections with freight agents and get quotes from different agents to secure best rate.

• Maintain goods dispatched register.

• Write out manual delivery notes as applicable.

• Process Return to Stores notes.

• Process Return to supplier notes for warranty and once reconciled, arrange freight supplier.

• Dispatch of goods as per delivery notes, stock transfer notes and return to supplier notes.

• Physically check that items delivered agree to delivery note.

• Only dispatch goods to approved customers where order number has been obtained.

• Ensure all delivery notes are signed by the customer or freight agent.

• Issue parts / raw material to jobs in accordance with Material Requisitions.

• Assist with deliveries of stock to clients.


Receiving

• Receipts of all goods.

• Agree goods received to delivery note and make out Goods Receipt Note accordingly.

• Ensure goods received are correctly recorded for data capture in the correct period.


Purchases

• Follow up on outstanding purchase orders.

• Collect goods from suppliers as required.

• Assist with obtaining competitive quotes for local purchases.


General

• Safe keeping of inventory.

• General housekeeping in store. (Cleaning and Packing shelves).

• Perform stock counts.

• Maintain tools store and ensure adequate control over tools are executed.

• Hands on approach to understanding the energy business.

• Handling day to day enquiries for spares, quote, and availability.

• Write up RSN’s.

• Record keeping of GRN’s.

• Working closely with sales coordinator to ensure on time delivery.

• Complete time sheets weekly.

• Complete all paperwork and records maintained for JBT Marel and customer to standard.

• Reconcile Warranty documentation in conjunction with sales coordinator RMA documentation.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE

• Grade 12.

• Course in Inventory Management advantageous.

• Product knowledge advantage.

• Minimum 3 years in stores environment.

  
Computer Literacy

• MS Word & Excel.

• MS Outlook.

• Syspro.
