This is a fixed-term role, less than 4 months, or as business needs require with a start date as soon as possible. While we are open to someone working in a temporary full-time capacity, we would also be open to an outstanding candidate seeking a part-time role.
Core responsibilities will include:
Providing walk-in and by-appointment support and assistance for students
Consultation and advising services for faculty, staff, and others regarding case-specific student issues
Coordinating case management for acute students-of-concern, including collaboration with a variety of campus partners, including Counseling and Psychological Services and University Health Services clinicians and case managers where appropriate
Maintaining up-to-date documentation of services, including reports and assessment of divisional work with students
Intake and triage reports about students of concern that are submitted to the Office of the Dean of Students
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in higher education or student affairs administration, social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field preferred
Minimum of 1-3 years human services and/or relevant experience required, but we encourage applications from hardworking individuals with relevant professional backgrounds
Experience working with college and university students, and an understanding of the common developmental issues associated with that population (particularly at a high select university), is preferred
Strong communication, critical thinking, and collaboration skills are essential for success in the role
A combination of education and relevant experience from which comparable knowledge is demonstrated may be considered.
