Job Description

The Catering Coordinator coordinates all aspects of the food service activities, Conference Center services, and catering for the Firm’s meetings and events.

Primary Responsibilities and/or Essential Functions:

  • Plans and organizes all daily catering requirements and meets requested catering needs and deadlines.
  • Coordinates receipt of food deliveries and ensures that deliveries are complete. 
  • Sets up and breakdowns food service timely.
  • Monitors and ensures high standards of food and beverage presentation.
  • Responsible for timely upkeep and cleanliness of all kitchen/pantry areas, the café, conference rooms, and employee lounges.
  • Ensures kitchen/pantry areas and conference rooms are stocked daily and throughout the day with beverages and catering supplies.
  • Maintains inventory of groceries, catering supplies, and equipment.
  • Utilizes electronic conference room scheduling software and corresponds with administrative staff via email to coordinate and manage catering logistics.
  • Develops and maintains excellent customer service relationships with clients, attorneys, vendors, and administrative staff.
  • Collaborates with administrative staff to meet office catering needs.
  • Any additional responsibilities as required by management.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Minimum two (2) years catering work experience in a professional food service environment, preferably in a law firm.
  • Highly motivated, organized, accurate, and detail oriented.

Education/Certifications:

  • Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent.

Estimated salary range is $55,000 - $65,000. Compensation decisions within the range are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case including but not limited to the individual's skills, experience, and qualifications.
