POSITION OVERVIEW:

Step into the action! Join our team to lead game-day security operations, manage cutting-edge systems, and ensure a safe, world-class experience for fans and staff. KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Assisting Security Management in overseeing all life/safety aspects and security operations for the ballpark, its structure, property, and occupants during gameday, non-gameday, and special events, ensuring an optimal guest and staff experience.

  • Leading, managing, and training game-day and non-game day security staff, including scheduling, performance tracking, policy adherence, and morale initiatives, ensuring optimal deployment and presentation of personnel and equipment.

  • Overseeing gate entry for smooth/safe ingress, ensuring a clear security screening for all guest, fan code of conduct, and staff experience, and providing escorts for employees, staff, and visitors as requested.

  • Managing and maintaining all security systems, including surveillance cameras, access control, badging, and alarm panels, encompassing credential creation, tracking, and conducting regular system audits.

  • Responding to, troubleshooting, investigating, and documenting all security/safety incidents and escalated issues, ensuring proper reporting and optimal problem resolution.

  • Identifying, documenting, and implementing solutions for operational inefficiencies, ensuring all security policies, forms (e.g., Criminal Trespass forms), and vulnerability checks are current, effectively distributed, and adhere to standards.

  • Acting as a liaison and representing Security in internal and third-party meetings (e.g., with Housekeeping, EMS, Engineering), facilitating communication, feedback, and training sessions to ensure seamless event operations and compliance with standards.

  • Managing and maintaining inventory for all security equipment and supplies, including procurement, deployment, training (e.g., for body cameras), tracking communication equipment, and ensuring proper presentation of physical security measures (e.g., bollards).

  • Providing comprehensive administrative support including scanning and organizing end-of-season evaluations, scheduling meetings, updating managers' calendars, and distributing meeting notes.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BA or MS degree in Criminal Justice, Sports Management, Hospitality, or a related field.

  • Understanding and appreciation for diverse cultures and an ability to relate well with individuals of a diverse background.

  • Ability to work long hours, weekends and occasional holidays in all types of weather conditions, including rotating shifts.

  • 3-5 years of experience with a Professional Team, preferably in a stadium or large-scale event environment.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office – PowerPoint, Excel and Word.

  • Previous experience with Avigilon, Workday, Raven, Google Docs, Sheets, and Forms is preferred.

  • Strong leadership skills, balanced with the ability to be a collaborative team player.

  • Self-starter with strong initiative, accepting a high degree of responsibility and acting with urgency and accountability.

  • Strong organization skills (i.e., proactive, detail oriented) and ability to excel under pressure, with demonstrated proficiency in creating and implementing scheduling efficiencies for security personnel.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to innovate and improvise security solutions.

  • Ability to move and lift boxes up to 50 pounds.

  • Must complete a successful background check.
