What Global Trade contributes to Cardinal Health
 

Global Trade is responsible for the design, implementation and execution of policies, programs and platforms to enable compliant and efficient international movement of products and technologies.
 

Global Trade Sourcing is responsible for defining the domestic and/or international logistics strategy by establishing strategic relations with service providers. This job family owns US and global logistics T&C’s, contracts, negotiations, supplier performance metrics and supplier vetting and evaluation. 
 

Qualifications
l High school diploma/GED
l 1 years experience preferred
l Excellent communication skills


What is expected of you and others at this level
l Comprehensive knowledge in traffic coordination (Importation/exportation/drivers)
l Ability to balance queue at sterilizers and take effective decisions
l Knowledge in Intermodal logistics process (sea containers)
l Experience in customs software (Vastera/ ACE manifest)
l Microsoft Office good skills office 365
l Preferred experience in Shipping and Receiving area.
Takes the lead in effectively applying and teaching new processes and skills in order to accomplish
a wide variety of assignments
l
l Comprehensive knowledge in specialty area related to Traffic & Logistics
l Experience in AS400 modules (CIMA/PRMS)
l Ability to apply knowledge beyond own areas of expertise
l Preempts potential problems and provides effective solutions for team
l Works independently to interpret and apply company procedures to complete work
l Provides guidance to less experienced team members
Team leader responsibilities, leads a 15 drivers and should be capable to cover shipping / receiving
areas.
l
l Responsible for keep safe the supply chain of the Juarez - El Paso operations.
l Over Time availability
l Availability for flexible Journey including weekends (switch shifts)
