Salary Range: $20.61 - $24.02 Per Hour

Job Summary: This position is located at Texas Roadhouse Restaurant Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA. This position is a FLEX position. FLEX positions can be worked anywhere between 0 - 39 hours per week. Hours are not guaranteed. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Major Duties:

  • Performs a full range of simple cooking of items that require little to no processing and prepping foods by peeling, chopping, cutting, grinding, pureeing, dredging and etc.
  • Operates and cleans a variety of different standard kitchen equipment that use multiple types of heat sources such as gas, electricity, steam and/or microwave.
  • Maintains a clean workspace and follows established sanitation procedures when handling food.
  • Ensures foods are properly cooked and stored at the correct temperatures to prevent the growth of bacteria.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Work experience in preparing foods and cooking simple foods and short orders in a cafeteria, restaurant, or mess.
