THE JOB:
Become a Cook at Mandalay Bay's Libertine Social! As a Cook, you will skillfully apply your culinary techniques to craft exceptional dishes that delight our guests. Your warm smile and attentive service will set the stage for an outstanding dining experience. By connecting with guests and understanding their unique stories and needs, you’ll take ownership of their experience, creating WOW memories that they will cherish long after their visit. If you’re passionate about culinary excellence and enhancing guest experiences, we want you on our team!
THE STARTING RATE: $26.6831 Hourly
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Maintain solid knowledge of food products and skillfully apply culinary techniques
Identify and safely use kitchen equipment
Restock kitchen supplies and food items required for service
Properly label and date products to ensure safekeeping and sanitation
Maintain solid menu knowledge and attention to detail with plate presentation
Assist kitchen leadership and staff in execution of service
Maintain solid knowledge, understanding and preparation of base sauces, stocks and soups
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
1+ years of prior relevant experience as a Cook preferred
Formal Culinary training preferred
