THE JOB:
As a Cook at Borgata, you will expertly apply your culinary techniques while creating an inviting atmosphere for our guests with your warm smile and dedicated service. By connecting with guests and understanding their unique stories and needs, you will take ownership of their dining experience, crafting WOW moments and lasting memories that they will cherish long after their stay.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Maintain solid knowledge of food products and skillfully apply culinary techniques
Identify and safely use kitchen equipment
Restock kitchen supplies and food items required for service
Properly label and date products to ensure safekeeping and sanitation
Maintain solid menu knowledge and attention to detail with plate presentation
Assist kitchen leadership and staff in execution of service
Maintain solid knowledge, understanding and preparation of base sauces, stocks and soups
Work as a team, assist all guests needs and inquiries
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent preferred
2+ Years experience in a similar resort setting preferred
1+ Years experience as a cook preferred
Required to work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays

Pay Rate:
The rate for this role is:
$24.00
Pay will not be below any applicable minimum wage.
Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.
