The extern will work under minimal direction, within established departmental protocols, and will be expected to demonstrate professionalism and a commitment to quality care.
Required Qualifications:
Selected for the University of the Incarnate Word School of Osteopathic Medicine Internal Medicine Clerkship, with assignment at Conviva New Braunfels.
Eligible to work in the United States (Social Security Number required as part of the application).
Submission of a written attestation that you do not have a felony record (this will be provided to you upon program matching).
Availability for the entire rotation period from January 5 – January 30, 2026 and work Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CST (4 weeks / 160 Course Hours).
Complete all onboarding requirements, including submission of required documentation and forms for Conviva and university records.
Demonstrated passion for enhancing patient and consumer healthcare experiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
Active involvement in campus activities and/or community service.
Expressed interest in a career in the healthcare industry.
