Summary
Receives, stores, and distributes material and products within establishments by performing the
following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Responsible for specialized warehouse tasks in receiving, inventory, customer service,
and/or order processing.
• Completes requisition forms to order supplies from other warehouse departments.
• Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to
determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Inspecting items for defects and reporting as required.
• Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other
designated areas.
• Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveyors orders to
packing station or shipping department.
• Attends safety training to learn how to work safely in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Fills work orders, or requests for materials, and distributes items to designated area.
• Compiles worksheets or tickets from customer specifications.
• Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined
sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area.
• Other administrative duties.
Additional responsibilities may include:
• Organizes and inputs product into WMS system with placement of labeling.
• Performs handheld scanner function within the WMS system.
• Perform QC audits within WMS system.
• Utilize laptop to communicate product discrepancies.
• Communicates with yard driver regarding yard movements
