Our controls and automation technologies power some of the world’s most advanced data centres, and we’re now recruiting an experienced Controls Project Manager to lead high value, complex projects in this fast growing sector.
What You Will Do
Lead the full lifecycle of largescale €2M–€4M+ controls projects within mission critical data centre environments
Direct and coordinate multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and specialist vendors
Develop, manage, and deliver detailed project schedules, budgets, and risk plans
Oversee commercial performance including forecasting, P&L responsibility, and margin protection
Ensure all works comply with CDM regulations, health & safety standards, and client specifications
Collaborate with main contractors, design consultants, and stakeholder groups to drive successful outcomes
Manage procurement, logistics, and resource allocation across multiple active sites
Provide transparent, timely project reporting to senior leadership and customers
How You Will Do It
Apply your technical understanding of controls and building automation systems to ensure high quality, compliant project delivery
Use strong planning and organisational skills to maintain control of cost, scope, schedule, and risk
Lead by influence—building strong relationships with contractors, engineers, and clients
Maintain rigorous safety and quality standards throughout every project stage
Leverage proven project management methodologies and tools such as MS Project or Primavera
Use your commercial awareness to drive financial discipline and successful project outcomes
Work proactively, anticipating issues before they arise and resolving them with clarity and confidence
What We Look For
Proven experience managing complex construction or building services projects
Strong background in controls systems or Building Management Systems (BMS)
Experience working on data centre or other mission critical environments
Solid understanding of project controls, contracts, safety legislation, and risk management
Confident communication and leadership skills, capable of managing diverse technical teams
Highly Advantageous:
Experience with platforms such as Metasys, Tridium Niagara, Trend, Siemens, Schneider
Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, etc.)
Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline
Strong financial acumen for managing project budgets and forecasting
