We’re Looking For:
A Controller for the Services Business Unit is a key financial leader responsible for overseeing all accounting, financial reporting, performance analysis, and internal controls for a growing services organization. This role partners closely with operational leaders to drive financial discipline, ensure compliance, and support data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and able to translate financial insights into actionable business strategies. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including leadership in a Controller or similar role.

You Will:
Lead month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close processes for the Business Unit.
Prepare accurate financial statements, variance analyses, and management reports.
Ensure ASC 606‑aligned revenue recognition and maintain accurate P&L and balance sheet records.
Track volume, revenue, and margins across all service lines.
Drive the annual operating plan and periodic re-forecasting for the business unit.
Partner with operations leaders to develop financial models for service delivery, staffing, and capacity planning.
Provide deep financial insights into revenue trends, utilization, margins, backlog, and pipeline.
Identify risks and opportunities, providing proactive recommendations to leadership.
Advise Business Unit leadership as the primary financial partner.
Develop and maintain KPIs and dashboards for performance measurement.
Support pricing strategies and contract reviews.
Work with HR and Operations to ensure optimal labor planning and cost management.
Ensure adherence to GAAP, company accounting policies, and regulatory compliance.
Partner with internal/external auditors to support audit activities
Manage and mentor accounting/finance staff supporting the business unit.
Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
Build scalable processes and tools to support future growth.
Must Have’s:
7+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including at least 3 years in a Controller or similar leadership capacity.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Strong understanding of GAAP, revenue recognition (ASC 606), and project accounting.
Advanced Excel skills and experience working in ERP systems.
Proven ability to manage financial close processes and deliver accurate financial reporting.
Experience partnering with operational leaders to influence business outcomes.
Nice to Have’s:
CPA or CMA certification.
Experience in high-growth or multi-entity environments.
Familiarity with financial modeling, FP&A partnership, and KPI development.
Strong communication skills with the ability to influence senior leader
