Responsibilities:
Serve as a point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders via phone, email, and internal systems.
Enter bookings in the TMS (Transport Management System) and continuously update jobs to reflect changes in the operating environment.
Create, update, and monitor shipments in relevant systems, ensuring data accuracy throughout the shipment lifecycle.
Coordinate routings, pick-ups, deliveries, and exceptions in cooperation with local offices, partners, and carriers.
Provide timely status updates and required documentation, and escalate risks or service issues as needed.
Calculate transit-times, shipment prices.
Support pricing, quotations, and other customer requests in line with approved processes and guidelines.
Work in accordance with applicable regulations, quality standards, and security requirements.
Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying process gaps and proposing practical solutions.
Review reports in the Transport Management System and other systems to ensure a smooth shipment lifecycle and that all required steps are completed for billing.
Education:
A completed vocational qualification or bachelor’s degree (or equivalent practical experience) is preferred. Previous experience in customer service, logistics, or operations support is an advantage
Skills and Knowledge:
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Good command of English (additional languages are an advantage)
Customer-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail and follow-through
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate schedule flexibility when required
