Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders via phone, email, and internal systems. 

  • Enter bookings in the TMS (Transport Management System) and continuously update jobs to reflect changes in the operating environment. 

  • Create, update, and monitor shipments in relevant systems, ensuring data accuracy throughout the shipment lifecycle. 

  • Coordinate routings, pick-ups, deliveries, and exceptions in cooperation with local offices, partners, and carriers. 

  • Provide timely status updates and required documentation, and escalate risks or service issues as needed. 

  • Calculate transit-times, shipment prices. 

  • Support pricing, quotations, and other customer requests in line with approved processes and guidelines. 

  • Work in accordance with applicable regulations, quality standards, and security requirements. 

  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying process gaps and proposing practical solutions. 

  • Review reports in the Transport Management System and other systems to ensure a smooth shipment lifecycle and that all required steps are completed for billing. 

 

Education:

  • A completed vocational qualification or bachelor’s degree (or equivalent practical experience) is preferred. Previous experience in customer service, logistics, or operations support is an advantage

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 

  • Good command of English (additional languages are an advantage) 

  • Customer-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail and follow-through 

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate schedule flexibility when required
