Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity
As one of our Contracts Officers, you will ensure our contracted agents and suppliers provide high quality products and services, by maintaining effective relationships and by monitoring and managing contract compliance and performance.
You will oversee the contract lifecycle for a portfolio of contracts, including the provision of high-quality advice, and preparation and evaluation of procurement process.
We are looking to offer a salary between $85,100 and $95,000 depending on skills and experience.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Understanding of the structure and management of contracts
Ability to influence contract negotiation and in the development of ideas to support projects and work programmes.
Knowledge of financial processes
Outstanding communication skills
Excellent relationship management with both internal and external stakeholders.
You will demonstrate knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an understanding of Te Ao Māori and promote tikanga and Te Reo Māori. You will also have knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an appreciation of Te Tiriti o Waitangi (the Treaty of Waitangi) as it applies in the public sector.
