We’re looking for a talented and commercially minded Contracts Manager to join our close-knit team based out of the Manchester / Leeds area

Purpose of the Role

The purpose of this role is to provide legal, commercial and administrative support to the legal team and dentsu’s media trading business in relation to routine contract and procurement requirements, procedures, training and advice

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, negotiate and advise on routine commercial agreements across a variety of areas but generally focused on media and trading
  • Advise in connection with contract interpretation and initial dispute resolution
  • Support in relation to development and deployment of new commercial initiatives
  • Provide support to business teams in contractual negotiations with media partners and sometimes clients. This includes being able to efficiently provide a risk assessment of proposed contracts, clearly distinguishing between critical and less critical risks
  • Help develop and deliver training and initiatives to assist business stakeholders in managing risk / contract compliance
  • Assist with implementation of best practice in compliance and contract management

Qualifications + Skills

  • Strong experience reviewing, drafting a negotiating commercial contracts
  • Commercially minded, pragmatic, solutions-focused and able to communicate clearly
  • Able to operate with ownership, organisation and follow-through
  • Highly collaborative and relationships-oriented with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Values being part of a close-knit team

  • The team is based out of our Manchester and Leeds offices, with 4 days a week working from home, and 1 day a week alternating between each office.
