Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Contract Administrator to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Air Dominance Division.  This role is located in Clearfield, Utah.  This position is full-time on-site and offers the 9/80 work schedule.

Responsibilities include by are not limited to:

  • Act as a primary interface with customer for contractual issues; Monitor contract and associated program to ensure that contractual obligations are communicated and understood.
  • Apply sound judgment to proposal strategy, contract formation, and customer relationships.
  • Review and analyze customer Requests for Proposal (RFPs) to understand Statements of Work (SOW)/contract requirements and advise the program team on contractual terms and conditions.
  • Partner closely with Pricing and Estimating (P&E) and the Capture team to develop and implement proposal strategies.  Ensure company proposals are fully responsive to prospective customer requirements, prepare proposal submittal documents and coordinate appropriate levels of internal review and approval.
  • Manage fact-finding and negotiations between customer and program team.
  • Ensure fulfillment of contract requirements, manage contract changes and maintain historical information.
  • Advise management of contractual rights and obligations.
  • Compile and analyze data.
  • Enter and maintain contract data into Contract Management System and/or Enterprise Accounting System
  • Ensure timely delivery of all contractual deliverables (CDRLs/SDRLs) and submission of invoices.
  • Maintain historical information through the closeout process.

Basic Qualifications for Contract Administrator

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of relevant experience in commercial aviation contracts or in DoD Contracts or Subcontracts / or a master’s degree.
  • Experience using MS Office Suite, (specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) and Adobe.
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Working knowledge of FAR/DFARS and/or commercial contract clauses
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of FAR/DFARS, experience with different contract types is preferred, especially commercial aviation contracts.
  • A current/active DoD Secret Security Clearance
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functional teams
  • Experience with USG and Prime customers

Primary Level Salary Range: $65,500.00 - $98,300.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
