Role Description

As the Contracting Operations and Compliance Manager on the Vendor Procurement Team, you will be instrumental in the transformation of the contracting program at GFiber.  You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining our internal contract lifecycle management systems and processes. You will have the opportunity to implement a world class CLM software and create strategies to optimize operations by working with cross-functional partners across the enterprise to understand their needs.

In this role, you'll:

  • Manage the strategy and implementation of the enterprise-wide contract lifecycle management tool and its ongoing configuration and maintenance.
  • Manage the vendor team that fulfills contract related requests to ensure that submissions meet process and compliance requirements, and manage exceptions.
  • Manage contract templates and approval flows in the CLM software.
  • Track, assess, and respond to and resolve questions regarding contracting processes.  
  • Liaise with GFiber business, legal and compliance teams on contracting procedures and policies. 
  • Develop systems and tools to improve the business’ ability to manage contracts and partner relationships, then develop and implement training materials/programs on contracting best practices.

At a minimum we'd like you to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience working in a contract management, contracting operations, legal operations, procurement, or related environment.
  • Experience defining, maintaining, and optimizing the contract lifecycle including policy maintenance and workflow optimizations.
  • Experience implementing contract lifecycle management tools and their governance.
  • Experience managing contract and vendor escalations.

It's preferred if you have:

  • Experience in contract lifecycle management in the broadband, telecommunications or construction industries.
  • Paralegal, Scrum, Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent qualification(s).
  • Experience with DocuSign CLM.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to manage and complete numerous projects.
  • Experience preparing data driven analysis and presenting to leadership.

 

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $136,000 - $198,000 + bonus + cash award + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
