Northeastern University Hillel is seeking a warm, energetic, and student-centered Contract Therapist to support the mental health and well-being of Jewish students on campus. This role offers the opportunity to provide both short-term, in-the-moment support and longer-term counseling for students seeking ongoing care.
We are looking for a dynamic clinician who genuinely connects with college-aged students and understands the intensity and complexity of campus life. The ideal candidate brings empathy, cultural sensitivity, and a relatable presence that makes students feel comfortable seeking help. You will serve as a trusted resource—someone students can turn to for immediate support during challenging moments, as well as someone who can provide steady, longer-term therapeutic guidance when needed.
This is a contract position for spring semester, with flexible scheduling, and possibility for extension. Sessions will take place on-site at the Northeastern Hillel building in a comfortable and confidential counseling space.
Northeastern University Hillel is affiliated with Hillel International. Hillel International enriches the lives of Jewish students so they may enrich the Jewish people and the world, and envisions a world where every student is inspired to make an enduring commitment to Jewish life, learning and Israel.
In 1923, Rabbi Benjamin Frankel started Hillel with humble means, a noble mission and a breathtaking vision: to convey Jewish civilization to a new generation. Today, Hillel International continues to enrich the lives of Jewish students and is the largest Jewish campus organization in the world at nearly 1,000 colleges and universities across North America and around the world. As Hillel evolves as an organization, the mission remains steadfast: to create lasting connections with every Jewish student that foster an enduring commitment to Jewish life, learning, and Israel and train them to become the next Jewish leaders.
Hillel is an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to creating an accepting and inclusive environment for all.
