About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Contract Technical Recruiter to lead the end-to-end recruitment efforts for our immediate technical and engineering openings. You will be a strategic partner to our leadership team, responsible for identifying, engaging, and hiring top-tier talent in a highly competitive aerospace and Space Systems market.
This is a hybrid role based out of our Marysville, WA facility, requiring a blend of on-site collaboration and remote flexibility.
Responsibilities
- Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage the entire hiring process for various technical roles, including Aerospace Engineers, Structural Engineers, Propulsion Specialists, and specialized manufacturing talent.
- Sourcing Strategy: Utilize advanced sourcing techniques (LinkedIn Recruiter, Github, X-Ray search, and niche aerospace networks) to build a robust pipeline of passive candidates.
- Partnership: Set expectations on market reality and provide regular data-driven updates on pipeline health.
- Candidate Experience: Act as the primary point of contact for candidates, ensuring a high-touch, professional, and transparent experience that reflects Gravitics’ mission and culture.
- Interview Management: Coordinate and facilitate the onsite candidates in process in our Marysville office, including technical screenings and live onsite interviews, ensuring alignment between the interview panel and the candidate.
- Offer Negotiation: Manage the closing process, including compensation benchmarking and offer delivery, to ensure high acceptance rates.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, ideally within the aerospace, defense, robotics, or high-growth hardware sectors.
- Technical Literacy: Proven ability to understand and screen for complex engineering skill sets (e.g., structures, avionics, GNC, or orbital mechanics).
- Sourcing Prowess: Expert-level skills in identifying talent for "purple squirrel" roles in niche technical domains.
- Adaptability: Experience working in a fast-paced, startup, or rapidly scaling environment where priorities may shift.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to "sell" a vision to highly sought-after talent.
- Location: Ability to work in a hybrid capacity from our Marysville, WA office.
Preferred Skills
- Experience recruiting for engineering talent.
- Familiarity with ITAR/EAR compliance requirements during the hiring process.
- Proficiency with modern Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Greenhouse preferred.
