CONTRACT SPECIALIST

Salary Range: $86199 - $134317 Per Year

Job Summary: You will serve as a Contract Specialist in the NAWCWD, Contracts Group of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.

Major Duties:

  • You will negotiate and administer contracts and orders between the Government and contractors from receipt of requirement through physical and financial completion.
  • You will review purchase requests for technical and administrative adequacy.
  • You will prepare pre-award documentation and solicits contractor offers.
  • You will evaluate offers, negotiate, and prepare contract award documents.

Qualifications: In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DA-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: 1) Developing, executing, and administrating contracts in support of a range of supplies and services; and 2) Applying contract policy during the solicitation, negotiation, administration, and termination of contracts.
