An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Contract Manager to join Service Stream based in Clayton South

About the Role

Service Stream’s Utilities division are currently seeking a Contract Manager to join our Victorian Network Services and metering team. Reporting directly to the Service Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operational activities on a major metropolitan water meter reading, replacement and installation services contract. Based in Clayton South (VIC) and offered on a Permanent, Full Time basis, this position is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all contractual KPI’s are met and if possible, exceeded
  • Develop strong client relationships and act as a key point of contact
  • Ensure quality of work is in accordance with contractual requirements, company standards and to the client’s expectations
  • Plan and coordinate all daily tasks associated to the field and administration staff
  • Attend all client meetings and keep copies of agendas/minutes
  • Manage all internal operational activities within the contract
  • Manage the collection and validation of timesheets, and provision of data to payroll
  • Promote a systematic approach to HSE issues and adhere to relevant policies & procedures
  • Ensure contract variations are reported to the relevant line manager
  • Ensure monthly reporting and invoicing is completed in line with client and management requirements

About You

  • Prior working experience in a service delivery management or operational role
  • Demonstrated experience in contract, customer and client management
  • Previous experience in managing a field-based operations contract is highly desired
  • Understanding of basic financial reporting and budgeting
  • Well-developed written and verbal communications skills
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex issues
  • Certificate/Degree in Business and/or Frontline management is desired but not essential
