What is this role about?
As a Contract Manager, your main responsibilities will consist of:
1. Drafting new contracts or contract changes of medium/ high complexity to a competent standard;
2. Provide high quality and timely advice on BAU commercial issues, including solutions and mitigation strategies;
3. Manage Risks & Issues, Deliverables and Change Control processes;
4. Track and report as required to ensure compliance with CM processes;
5. Escalate risks and issues to line manager in a timely manner;
6. Resolve contract and commercial issues;
7. Identify all relevant policies and processes applicable, ensure high level of awareness and instruction is communicated and documented to all relevant personnel, and ensure records are maintained where required or appropriate;
8. Provide quality advice and guidance to operational teams on matters of escalation;
9. Produce timely and accurate status reports capturing and quantifying key risks;
10. Actively participate in local or regional legal initiatives, as required.
Skills and Qualifications
Your profile:
1. Minimum 5 years’ experience in the contract management/procurement/legal/finance field;
2. Degree in business, contract management, law or engineering;
3. Knowledge of national and international law;
4. Spoken languages: English – fluent;
5. Ability to manage complex procedures related to the drafting, analysis and negotiation of contracts in both Romanian and/or English;
6. Analytical ability, result orientation, strategic thinking, assertiveness, communication skills and customer orientation;
7. Membership in the International Association for Contract and Commercial Management (IACCM) or National Contract Management Association (NCMA) and professional certification are a plus;
8. Experience in a Shared Services/ BPO environment would be a plus.
