Your contribution to Prysmian's Success:  

We are seeking a Contract Manager to join our UK Commercial team based in Wrexham. This pivotal role supports both UK and international energy and infrastructure initiatives, including high-profile projects such as HS2 and the German Energy Corridors.

As part of the global Network Components business, this is a unique opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced commercial environment. With a focus on B2B sales, the role offers direct engagement with a diverse customer base across multiple market channels. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders across the Prysmian Group, major electrical utilities, and our extensive distribution and wholesale partners.

The customer portfolio includes UK Distribution Network Operators (DNOs), international energy firms, and leading construction and contracting companies—making this a varied and rewarding position that demands strong relationship management and commercial acumen.

The job is based in Wrexham, UK but some domestic and overseas travel may be required.

You will be responsible for:

  • Following the successful completion of contract negotiations, you will oversee and manage the successful and efficient delivery of the contract.

  • Commercial support to the business director and the account managers.

  • The management of the pricing structure for the LV/MV Network Components business

  • Creation and management of framework agreement price lists and distributor pricelists

  • Management of the agreed contract price adjustment (CPA) agreements including the periodic update of the relevant indices.

  • The preparation of product costing, pricing and documentation to support the process of DNO framework and major project bid submission.

  • Ensuring all offers follow the defined pricing policies and tendering guidelines.

  • The handling and management of contract documentation

  • To provide support to the commercial director during the annual management plan process.

  • To provide support and engage in the monthly sales forecast process.

  • To provide the relevant data to support regular customer contract review meetings which you may be asked to attend.

We can consider a recent Graduate with experience in sales, customer related or commercial environment.

  • A confident, self-driven team player with a proactive approach to collaboration.

  • Proven ability to build strong customer relationships and effectively manage expectations.

  • Exceptional communication skills paired with strong organizational capabilities.

  • Comfortable adapting to dynamic and evolving environments.

  • Demonstrates strong problem-solving aptitude and excellent analytical thinking.

  • Prior experience with cable accessories is advantageous but not mandatory.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Capable of working under pressure, resolving issues swiftly and efficiently.

  • Skilled in planning and prioritizing workload independently.

  • Familiarity with SAP is a plus.
