Contract Manager (Ref.No. R1012546)
at our location in Singapore
You will enjoy having these responsibilities:
- Will be involved in the entire project cycle, from tender to post contract stage that is focused mainly in providing contractual review and advises to the different stakeholders which may arise over the project duration.
- Work in multiple projects and bids.
- Work closely with the Project Managers, and Bid Managers for the assigned projects and bids.
- Work closely with the project team in the end-to-end management of Claims (including logs, gaps identification, etc.), EOT, Variations as well as the preparation of monthly progress report.
- Work closely with HOC (Head of Contracts) and SEA Head in preperation/managing matters relating to Contract Agreements, MOUs, NDAs, and different team agreements aligning with HRS’ policies and procedures.
- Responsible in enlightening the bid/project teams in whatever doubts they may have related to bid, project and business agreements.
- Responsible for continuously monitoring of contract deliverables and project milestones to avoid any delay and project risks.
- Assist the Head of Contracts in managing all the projects, bids and procurement activities.
- Attend to bids and project meetings
You have:
- Degree or Diploma in Electronics/Communication/Civil/Mechanical Engineering discipline
- 5 to 10 years of experience in Rail Signalling/Communications/Security System/Building/Civil projects or a similar is preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in contract, claims, and EOT management is important.
- Background in handling project commercials is a plus
- Good to have an understanding and experience in working with LTA/PSSCOC/FIDIC form of contracts
- Familiarity and handling projects (and its T&Cs) in Singapore
- Good communication skill in English language
- Ability to work with team members in Singapore and across SEA the region
- Strong MS Office skills, for example, the proficient knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint, will be necessary throughout this role
- Hard work and learning attitude
- The ability to manage shareholders and build strong relationships.
- The skills to grasp complex technical concepts quickly, including process flows and policies.
- The ability to collate information and produce comprehensive reports.
- An eye for detail and the ability to analyse problems and develop practical solutions.
- The skills to plan and organise workload and work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
