Overview
Maintains the EPIC contract maintenance and build with necessary fee schedule and contract updates for HB, PB and LLH. Responsible for the development, maintenance, and upgrades of the Acute, Physician and LLH contracting module within iCare. Supports the department through monitoring productivity, conducting monthly team member quality assessments and providing coaching and training.
What you will do
- Maintains Epic contract maintenance and build with necessary fee schedule and contract updates for HB, PB, and LLH.
- Identifies payer specific trends to ensure build accuracy.
- Identifies issues and trends and inputs corrective action.
- Works closely with iCare analysts and Epic TS.
- Serves as a liaison with outside departments.
- Investigates, analyzes and documents current and future state processes to ensure successful integration between clinical/business practice and relevant Epic application.
- Works with iCare application analysts, project managers, trainers, operations team and support team to translate clinical and business needs into EMR functionality consistent with project timelines and budgets.
- Monitors team member productivity and conducts monthly team member quality assessments.
- Provides coaching and training as needed to team members.
- Supports and monitors payment variance work queues and looks for possible workflow improvements.
Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma or GED, (Required)
- Bachelors Degree, (Preferred)
Experience
- 2 years Revenue Cycle or Contract Reimbursement experience (Required)
Licenses and Certifications
- Resolute Hospital Billing Expected Reimbursement Contracts Admin - EPIC (Preferred)
- Change Acceleration Process Training - Riverside Health System (RHS) (Preferred)
