Contract and Procurement Administrator

Job Description:

Provides professional-level contract administration and procurement support within the Strategic
Sourcing Contract Management (SSCM) department. Serves as a subject matter resource for contract
lifecycle management, leveraging expertise in contract review, documentation, and compliance to
support district-wide procurement operations. Core responsibilities include administering contracts
across assigned categories, processing purchase orders, managing departmental communications, and
supporting the district's implementation and ongoing use of Workday CLM. Collaborates with the
Director of SSCM, internal stakeholders, and external partners to ensure procurement and contractual
activities adhere to district policy, legal standards, and regulatory requirements.

MINIMUM EDUCATION OR FORMAL TRAINING
Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, Legal Studies, Communications, or a
related field. Paralegal studies or equivalent legal training is a plus. Equivalent combination of
education and relevant professional experience will be considered

Position Specific Information (if Applicable):

Responsibilities:

Monitor contract compliance and performance to ensure quality and service standards are met
for all stakeholders.

Research and resolve discrepancies related to purchase orders, contracts, and vendor
transactions.

Manage and triage SSCM departmental communications, ensuring timely and professional
responses to internal stakeholders and external partners.

Support the implementation and ongoing administration of Workday CLM, serving as a
departmental resource for contract lifecycle management processes and system utilization.

Adhere to and promote district policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all procurement
and contract administration activities.

Collaborate with the Director of SSCM and cross-functional teams to align contract and
procurement activities with district priorities and operational needs.

Maintain accurate and organized records of procurement and contract activities, including
purchase orders, contracts, and supporting documentation.

Process purchase orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with district
procurement policies and budgetary requirements.

Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

Administer contracts across assigned categories, including preparation, review, execution, and
documentation in accordance with district policies and legal standards.

Work Experience:

3-5 years of progressive experience in contract administration, procurement, or related field | Not Required Collaborative experience with internal teams and external suppliers. | Not Required Demonstrated experience working with and managing contract lifecycle (CLM) processes and systems, including preparation, review, execution, and compliance monitoring | Not Required Public sector or K–12 procurement experience preferred. | Not Required

Certified Professional in Supply Management - Institute for Supply Management, Certified Professional Public Buyer - Universal Public Procurement Certification Council, Certified Public Procurement Officer - Universal Public Procurement Certification Council, Paralegal Certificate - Colorado Bar Association

Full Salary Range:

$61,073.20 USD - $92,516.85 USD Annual
  • All salary amounts listed above are based on a full-time (1.0) FTE. If applicable, part-time salaries will be prorated according to the assigned FTE.
