About This Role

  • Provide oversight and governance for Stormwater or Transportation contracts to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and reporting requirements
  • Post draft eGenda contract packets for internal routing, LSR assignment, and workflow initiation
  • Serve as the Administrative Agent for assigned contracts
  • Collaborate with management to determine procurement needs and develop solicitations, bids, quotes, and project scopes through contract award
  • Train and oversee temporary contract staff in preparing, reviewing, drafting, and monitoring cooperative purchases, sole/single sources, and waiver requests
  • Work with the Procurement Liaison to submit and finalize bid documents, specifications, and timelines for approval and release
  • Coordinate meetings with stakeholders and report on bid status, post-award actions, vendor evaluations, and contract performance
  • Prepare new contract draft documents and reviews specifications for adherence to procurement best practices, confirming funding availability
  • Submit requests in OnBase for new contracts, amendments, renewals, and other contract-related services
  • Assist with eGenda processing, supports quick quotes or pre-qualified bids up to $50K, and helps schedule departmental Smartsheet meetings

Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

About You

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Public Administration, Business, Planning, or a job-related field AND two (2) years of job-related experience
  • - OR - Six (6) years of professional job-related experience at management’s discretion
  • A valid Florida Driver’s License at the time of hire

Subject to Passing Substance Screening:  This position is subject to passing a pre-employment substance screening.  An applicant who fails to pass a required drug screening test shall be disqualified from employment in any class for a period of five (5) years.

About Everything Else

Starting Pay Range: $56,139.20 - $62,000.00/ annually, based on experience
