Contract Analyst I

The anticipated salary range for this position is $70,000-$75,000 per yr./.  The actual compensation offered may vary based on job related factors such as experience, skills, education and location.

Job Summary

The Contract Analyst I is responsible for managing GPO administrative fee payments, corporate agreement payments to Integrated Health Networks (IHNs) and fee reporting to support the Owens and Minor growth and profit objectives.  This position reports to the Contract Manager.  The position interfaces with the National Accounts Sales Team, the Corporate Accounts Team, the Field Sales Team, and Business Management to create, analyze and process customer incentives and fees with the business strategy and meets the customer needs.

Job Description

  • Extract & manipulate sales data across various platforms (Power BI, OnDemand Client, Navision, and SAP) for data analysis and report distribution
  • Calculate and coordinate the payment of GPO contract fees based on rebated sales to GPOs, ensuring that payments are accurate and timely.
  • Analyze and coordinate executed MAI and AVID contracts ensuring accurate fee structures, payment schedules, and timely resolution of contractual disputes.
  • Analyze existing GPO and Corporate Account contracts for profitability and tier compliance to ensure customers are compliant with contract parameters to facilitate payment when appropriate.
  • Maintain comprehensive tracking logs for monthly, quarterly, and annual contract payments to ensure accuracy and audit readiness.

Qualifications (minimum)

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 1+ years of Sales Operations, Sales Support, Finance, or Accounting experience
  • Demonstrated expertise in dealing with complex data sets and the ability to clearly and professionally communicate pertinent details and issues 
  • Evidence of high-level initiative with limited work direction 
  • Advanced knowledge of PC-based applications (Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required 
  • Critical skills include motivation, initiative, thoroughness, decision making and planning skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated expertise in problem solving and analysis 
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
     

Qualifications (preferred)

  • Broad-based knowledge of the Health Care Industry, including GPO contracts, and IHN organizations
  • Experience in key systems including SAP BI/BW and Vistex
