Contract Administrator Lead
Reporting to the Contracts Manager, the Contracts Administrator Lead will be responsible for the administration, negotiation, and management of contracts on a major transit project. This role requires a highly skilled contracts professional with a strong background in construction, excellent communication skills, and extensive experience managing complex contractual arrangements to ensure successful project delivery and compliance.

What You Will Be Working On
- Lead contract negotiation, administration, and management for large civil infrastructure projects, ensuring all contractual obligations are met.
- Draft, review, and finalize contracts, including construction, procurement, and subcontractor agreements, to mitigate risk and protect company interests.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all contract-related communications with clients, subcontractors, and project teams.
- Develop and implement contract management processes, ensuring compliance with corporate policies, regulatory requirements, and project specifications.
- Analyze and assess contractual risks and provide recommendations for risk mitigation to project leadership.
- Manage contract changes, claims, and dispute resolution in collaboration with project stakeholders to ensure timely resolution and alignment with project objectives.
- Ensure accurate tracking of contract deliverables, timelines, payments, and key milestones, providing updates to senior management as required.
- Oversee contract close-out processes, ensuring all contractual requirements are fulfilled and documentation is complete for final project handover.
- Provide guidance and training to project teams on contractual obligations, procedures, and best practices.
- Support the development and improvement of contract templates, terms, and conditions to ensure consistency across projects and mitigate future risks.
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in contract management, ideally within large-scale civil infrastructure or construction projects.
- Professional certifications such as RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) or CCCM (Certified Commercial Contracts Manager) preferred.
- Proficiency in contract management software and tools
- Extensive experience negotiating and managing contracts, including claims, change orders, and dispute resolution.
- Strong knowledge of construction law, commercial terms, and industry regulations specific to civil infrastructure.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously with high attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and advise stakeholders at all levels.
