Job Summary

The Intern will work alongside the Manager of Training & Continuous Improvement to focus on creating training materials, including the development of SOPs, graphics, diagrams, and process flows to support employee learning and onboarding. This role involves collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs) to translate complex processes into clear, accessible, and engaging content, such as PowerPoint presentations and training modules. Additionally, the Intern will support technical facility documentation by executing CAD facility map revisions and designing company posters to enhance site-wide communication. Responsibilities also include the creation and maintenance of visual dashboards to support operational metrics and provide clear visibility into site performance.

Job Responsibilities

  • Instructional Design & Content Development: Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to translate complex manufacturing processes into clear, accessible, and engaging training materials, including SOPs, PowerPoint presentations, graphics, and instructional diagrams.

  • Facility Visualization & Operational Reporting: Support technical site documentation through CAD facility map revisions and the design of company posters and visual dashboards to track key performance indicators and enhance site-wide communication.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Post-secondary student currently pursuing a program in Graphic Design, Computer Graphics or a related field

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and presentation software

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (e.g. Illustrator)

  • Problem solving and analytical skills

  • Ability to learn and apply new concepts and overcome obstacles with change
