We are seeking a Continuous Improvement Leader – Business Processes for our First Quality Tissue, SE facility located in Anderson, SC. This position will be responsible for improvement and automation of business processes with goal of zero losses, zero “Non value added activities” and zero manual touches in all business processes.
Captain all First Quality Tissue COE leaders for prioritization of business process improvement opportunities in collaboration with the First Quality Enterprise team (Solution Architects and enterprise standard workflow) and First Quality Tissue IT team.
Primary responsibilities include:
Create and maintain the single source of truth of all FQ Tissue Business Processes in collaboration with the Enterprise standard team. Ensures standardization of business process across all Tissue sites – Anderson, Lock Haven and Defiance.
The Business process improvement leader will drive best practices and innovation w.r.t business processes and tools to orchestrate the processes.
The Business process improvement leader is responsible for governance, stakeholder engagement and training of business processes.
Define leader standard work for business processes in collaboration with the business leaders.
Define daily management system to drive sustainable improvements for business processes in collaboration with business leaders and team members.
Work with “applied data science” team leader to launch projects in areas of Gen AI, ML models and Analytics to create health checks of business processes, to improve business processes and to automate business processes
Lead the CI engineers and COE Leaders for individual processes
Procure to Pay, Order to Cash
Demand and Supply planning
Manufacturing processes - MES
Other processes – HR, Maintenance, engineering, IT, Finance, Safety, Document management, Quality, Warehouse processes
The ideal candidate should possess the following:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or other relevant field
SAP knowledge, Business process improvement experience, Lean, Six sigma or Continuous improvement knowledge
Knowledge of process mapping, root cause analysis and process improvement tools
Minimum of 7 years of experience implementing successful large-scale business process improvements projects
Experience working with digital transformation and business process improvements
Deep understanding of business processes (Procure to pay, Order to Cash, Supply/Demand, HR processes, maintenance processes, Finance processes, Safety processes)
Knowledge of common enterprise tools (SAP, MES, Salesforce, Hexagon, Intelex)
Knowledge of data engineering, data transformation, advanced analytics, machine learning and agentic AI to leverage the digital layer of the enterprise.
Resource management skills and ability to handle complex / sensitive issues as well as to flex with agility to serve the business need.
Ability to travel as necessary to support multiple sites.
