We are looking for a Continuous Improvement and Training Lead to play a key role in strengthening Continuous Improvement (CI) capability and developing people across our logistics operations at Warboys, Wyton and Huntingdon.
This role is responsible for driving operational improvements and embedding a structured tier training programme that supports consistency, flexibility and career progression across our teams. You will work closely with Manufacturing CI colleagues to align on standard processes and ways of working, while acting as a subject matter expert for CI and people development within Logistics.
Own and manage the Continuous Improvement programme across all three sites.
Champion a strong Health & Safety culture, ensuring compliance with H&S and environmental standards and completing site audits.
Lead CI projects to improve efficiency, service levels, cost control and error reduction, using data, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Create, monitor and deliver Operational Excellence KPIs, ensuring actions are robust and outcomes are sustainable.
Review logistics processes end‑to‑end, challenging the status quo and improving visual management across all areas.
Design and deliver a tier training framework, aligned with manufacturing standards, to develop capability, flexibility and progression.
Facilitate training and support team development across logistics functions, including export where required.
Act as the CI Subject Matter Expert, coaching and mentoring teams on CI tools and behaviours.
Work collaboratively with stakeholders across departments to build a strong, connected team culture.
Maintain systems and documentation to support external audit compliance.
Provide flexible operational support across sites where needed to ensure business continuity.
Essential Experience & Knowledge
Experience delivering continuous improvement initiatives within logistics, supply chain or a similar operational environment.
At least 2 years’ experience creating and delivering training materials or programmes.
Strong IT skills and experience working with ERP systems.
Sound Health & Safety knowledge and a proactive approach to safe working.
