Position Overview
Exact Science’s Customer Experience (CX) team is responsible for defining, driving, and delivering innovative, immersive, memorable customer-centric journeys for all our customers, across all channels (digital and physical). These journeys are grouped by Customer Types (e.g., Patient, Provider) and further categorized into a set of Experiences (e.g., Understand Risks & Complete Screening, Confirm Diagnosis). Each Experience has a set of specific, measurable Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) that the overall team is accountable to fulfill.
The Lead Content Strategist is responsible for helping to provide vision, strategy, and expertise, contributing to a team of CX content strategists and designers to help drive an end-to-end content strategy and execution for a range of experiences. You are skilled and highly proficient in driving user-centered strategy and insight-driven design that enjoys organizing and optimizing content so that it’s easy to find, use, and share. You can synthesize and translate abstract and complex concepts and content into simple, organized solutions, and frameworks. You are masterful at understanding and owning the interplay of content strategy, content design, and content management solutions, and thrive at the intersection of user needs, business opportunities, data, technology, and creativity. You enjoy helping to drive a vision and bringing it to life, while still getting your mind and hands in the details. You strive to balance quantitative and qualitative feedback while maintaining empathy and keeping the user at the center of everything you create.
In partnership with Marketing, the business units, and product teams, you will play a key role in supporting the connection of go-to-market strategies with content creation. You will collaborate with the Research & Strategy, Content Creation, Design, Marketing, and Business teams to develop engaging content experiences. You will learn about current content trends and target audiences, participating in meetings with management and team members to identify business objectives and learn more about company products, analyzing and synthesizing information, and creating strategies to meet those objectives within a given time frame. You will help build and maintain an overarching adherence and outreach strategy to create consistencies across product, journey, and segment.
You will be responsible for driving the development and execution of innovative content strategies that are aligned with the overall business objectives. You will be able to deliver complex models, frameworks and extensible, scalable solutions that are easily understood and inspire and empower writers, creators and designers to shine.
You should be able to share examples of work that demonstrates your approach to Content Strategy and how it was applied to influence the creation of user-centered products and service experiences across multiple channels. It should also be able to illustrate how your work has communicated complex ideas and terminology through simple, engaging content experiences that drove business results. You should also be able to share examples of team leadership and development and experiences collaborating with key stakeholders.
Essential Duties
Include, but not limited to, the following:
- Lead and work with product, UX, legal and regulatory, and delivery teams to drive the analysis needed to understand and devise world-class content strategies, by developing artifacts such as taxonomies, content models, content hierarchies, information architectures, audits, inventories, governance models that create detailed consistency. You’ll provide strategic rigor and thoughtfulness throughout the creation of products and experiences – from vision and conception to launch and optimization/governance.
- Serve as a subject-matter expert in all things content. Areas of expertise include (but are not limited to) editorial planning, UX writing, metrics analysis, SEO and content management.
- Help lead both partners and peers alike to help think how content drives utility and inspires, equally. You’ll work closely with a multi-disciplinary group of Strategists, Designers, Program Managers, and Technologists, demonstrating and inspiring with your knowledge of your craft.
- Create frameworks and strategies that help content creators thrive. Provide mentorship and support for more junior content staff. Execute and help guide teams to create outstanding, cohesive, and connected content experiences across projects and platforms. Help develop comprehensive experiences by applying strategic content strategy methodologies by providing a clear point-of-view, approach, and framework that guides effective design and implementation.
- Lead/guide initiatives to gather additional content-focused requirements and validate hypotheses about content organization, hierarchy, and structure.
- Research and stay up to date on the latest developments in terms of search engine optimization, content trends, consumer behavior, and artificial intelligence.
- Ensure quality and consistency across content experiences.
- Demonstrate confidence in leading work and driving collaboration with others outside of your team.
- Help support the writing, editing, and testing of content, and lead its improvement that makes our products and experiences easier to use across Exact Sciences products and experiences.
- Audit and evaluate experiences to help understand and assess the content and be able to provide strategic recommendations for moving forward.
- Lead and collaborate on content decisions with multiple team members, including product, Marketing, UX, development, copywriting, and key stakeholders.
- Foster a welcoming environment regardless of background, sexual orientation, gender expression, religion, or ethnicity, and model these behaviors for the organization.
- Document content and approvals according to established processes, or create process and policy documents including governance documentation, when necessary.
- Understand and prioritize problems, opportunities, and solutions that contribute to the product roadmap, strategy, and vision leveraging data, research, industry trends, and business objectives.
- Uphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork.
- Ability to effectively manage legal reviews and feedback cycles.
- Travel Requirements: Ability to travel 10-20% of working time away from work location, may include overnight/weekend travel.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, English, Communication, Journalism, Life Sciences, Library Sciences, or related field of study; or High School Degree/General Education Diploma and 4+ years of relevant experience as outlined in the essential duties in lieu of bachelor's degree.
- 8+ years of experience in content design and/or content strategy.
- Experience with Figma, Miro, Excel, Screaming Frog, and other design tools to edit and contribute to designs and content strategies.
- Experience with content management systems and user testing tools.
- Experience in simplifying and communicating complex ideas to broad audiences.
- Experience in managing a content creation process from strategy to delivery of final product.
- Experience in collaborating with and influencing product, engineering, design, and operational teams.
- Experience in creating strategies that optimize for varied content ecosystems that leverage known persona or archetypal work, SEO, and measurement objectives.
- Advanced understanding of accessible, inclusive, and equitable design.
- Experience with the principles of Agile/Scrum/Kanban.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with a proactive and logical approach to workload and ability to work both independently and within a team. Ability to effectively plan, organize, and prioritize work.
- Demonstrated ability to perform the Essential Duties of the position with or without accommodation.

- Experience in healthcare, wellness, or digital health.
- Experience with service design (digital and physical) and operations.
- Experience with both B2C and B2B products and/or services.

Salary Range:
206 000,00 zł - 352 000,00 zł
The annual base salary shown is for this position located in PL - Warsaw on a full-time basis. This range reflects base salary only.
