What you get to do:
The Content Operations Specialist will be responsible for executing the company’s website content strategy for United Parks & Resorts. The individual in the role will be accountable for creating and updating website content to create demand and drive revenue for the parks. You will:
- Implement the digital marketing strategy for United Parks & Resorts park brands and corporate enterprises, supporting in-park and ecommerce initiatives.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to plan and communicate the information needed for successful execution of the vision of the SEA online websites.
- Build and maintain all website content, ensuring all adds, deletes and adjustments are updated according to established specifications and timeframes.
- Organize and maintain calendar for park’s attraction updates, landing pages, special microsite initiatives, image updates, copy strategy, etc.
- Collaborate with third party agency and corporate team to implement learned best practices for SEO within content and structure.
- Report online activity, trends and performance of park websites.
- Maintain and grow awareness of digital marketing trends and the implications that these technologies have on marketing to the company’s target consumer.
- Work closely with Park and Corporate leadership teams to align business goals and create online content to support campaigns, mission initiatives, and event support.
- Provide updates to marketing leadership reporting analysis of key metrics associated with core projects.
- Partner with park marketing teams to create consistency in the consumer experience in all digital sales channels including approach, tone, and content strategy.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What it takes to succeed:
The ideal candidate will have a marketing background along with experience in digital marketing. We are seeking a candidate with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a proven ability to drive business development and outcomes using various digital marketing vehicles. The candidate must be able to manage multiple projects to completion while seizing emerging opportunities.
- Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related business field.
- Must have 3+ years of digital marketing experience preferred.
- Must have a marketing strategy background along with experience in digital marketing, specifically website content management.
- Must have experience with Content Management Systems; Experience with Sitecore preferred.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to adapt communication style to a number of different audiences.
- Must be able to multitask and work in a demanding, fast paced environment.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel- Pivot - CSV generation).
- Must be comfortable with Adobe Creative Suite applications, specifically Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Basic understanding of content optimization for search engines (SEO).
- Must be comfortable with data analysis and product/campaign performance analysis.
- Must be enthusiastic, confident change-agent with ability to work in a demanding and fast paced environment.
