Job Summary

The Content Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and enabling content across the HP.com US store to ensure accuracy, consistency, and optimization. Working closely with Category, Marketing, Merchandising, and UX teams, this role defines the vision, strategy, and processes for managing content that supports both long-term objectives and weekly execution.

This position covers all strategic and operational aspects of content management, including workflow efficiency, automation, and quality assurance, to deliver a seamless and engaging customer experience that drives conversion and revenue.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements process improvement strategies and initiatives while monitoring the impact on efficiency, quality, and cost.

• Leads a team of individual contributors setting team goals, monitoring performance, and providing coaching and feedback.

• Establishes and enforces governance frameworks for processes and capabilities, including defining roles, responsibilities, and ownership.

• Drives a culture of continuous innovation, encouraging the exploration and implementation of emerging technologies and best practices.

• Develops and refines performance metrics and KPIs for processes and capabilities, monitoring them closely and providing insights for improvement.

• Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to gather input, feedback, and requirements for process improvements and capability development.

• Identifies and mitigates risks associated with process changes and capabilities, ensuring business continuity and compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Allocates resources, including personnel and budget, effectively to support process improvement initiatives and capability development.

• Provides training and guidance to teams and individuals on process improvement methodologies promoting knowledge sharing and best practices across the organization.

• Stays current with industry best practices and emerging trends in process management and improvement.

Education & Experience Recommended

• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.

• 7-10 years of content experience or e-commerce experience or 5-7 years of people management experience.

• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Good Project Management skills, PMP or Prince2 certificate is a plus

• Proven experience of process improvement including process automation. Experience in increasing AI usage in content management is a plus

• Strong Leadership and communication skills

• Strong Data Analysis skills

• Result-orientation

• Impacts function and leads projects requiring understanding of multiple disciplines or areas of HP.

• Uses managerial concepts and company objectives to resolve issues in creative and effective ways.
